The next assignments will be posted on the district website on April 7th. Hard copies will be available on Tuesday, April 7th (this is the only date for the rest of the month). Parents may pick up their child’s work* and drop off completed work from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the following locations:

Grades K-6:  Camden Primary Gymnasium (K-3 drive up to first gym door...4-6 drive up to second gym door)

Grades 7-12:  High School Gymnasium (enter through front doors)

For grades K-6, please remain in your vehicle and staff will deliver the assignments needed directly. For grades 7-12, parents will enter the building to obtain assignments. We will limit the number of people inside and maintain physical distancing inside as well as the line outside to enter (six feet rule).

These assignments will get us through the month of April. Teachers are available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to answer questions via email or other online accessibility.

*If your child is completing work online, there isn’t a need to pick up hard copies of assignments

Annual Child Find Request

Preble Shawnee Local Schools are trying to identify children with disabilities who are age 21 and younger and who may be in need of special education services. The school district is conducting the intensive awareness campaign under requirements within the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Ohio Revised Code and the State Board of Education Rules for the Education of Handicapped Children. Anyone knowing a child they suspect has problems with speech, hearing, physical development, vision or other suspected problems, should contact the school district. Each public school district offers evaluation for children with disabilities from age 3 through age 21 and education for all children with disabilities from age 3 through age 21. Once a school district is notified, the child’s parents are contacted and notified of their rights, and arrangements can be made to evaluate the child in cooperation with the parents.

Additional information may be obtained by contacting Director of Special Education or the Superintendent, Preble Shawnee Local Schools, 124 Bloomfield Street, Camden, Ohio, telephone 937-452-1283 ext 0.
