The
American FFA Degree is awarded to members who have demonstrated the highest
level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their
supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs).
The American FFA Degree is
awarded at the National FFA Convention and Expo each year to less than 1% of
FFA members making it one of the organization's highest honors.
On October, 28 2017 Johnny
Cottingim was awarded with his American degree along with another 357 Ohio FFA
members. Johnny served as the chapter President in 2015-2016. Then he proceed
to further his agricultural career at The Ohio State University along with
being the Ohio State FFA Sentinel in 2016-2017. Johnny traveled the state of
Ohio teaching FFA members about the importance of agriculture and countless
leadership skills. We would like to take a moment and congratulate Johnny on
all of his success over the last few years and being such a great inspiration
on the chapter members.
